Elegance Vidhyalay is a medical education and professional training initiative of Elegance Skill Hub Academy Private Limited, founded in 2022 by Dr. Ashutosh Shah – an experienced Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon, national-level faculty member, surgical trainer and medical educator. We are dedicated to empowering doctors through practical, hands-on training, clinical mentorship, advanced surgical fellowships and professional development programs.

“When I established Elegance Vidhyalay in 2022, my vision was simple: to share the knowledge, practical experience and clinical lessons I had gained through more than two decades of surgical practice.
I strongly believe that medical education should not end with a degree, a fellowship or a workshop. Medicine is continuously evolving, and as doctors, we must continue learning, adapting and improving throughout our careers.
Over the past four years, we have had the privilege of training more than 150 doctors through our educational programs. It is particularly satisfying to see many of these colleagues confidently introducing new services, developing their practices and improving the care they provide to patients.
What makes Elegance Vidhyalay special to me is the relationship we maintain with our trainees. Even after completing their training, they remain connected with us through our professional learning communities, case discussions and ongoing mentorship.
Our goal is not simply to teach a procedure. It is to help doctors understand when, why and how to perform it safely, while developing the confidence, judgement and professional responsibility required in clinical practice.
As we grow, our ambition is to make high-quality medical education accessible to more doctors across India and to develop a strong community of clinicians committed to excellence, ethics and lifelong learning.

Through our association with Elegance Diabetic Foot & Ulcer Clinic (EDFC), we also introduce interested and eligible doctors to opportunities for establishing dedicated diabetic foot care services in their own cities.
EDFC is a specialised diabetic foot and limb-preservation healthcare initiative founded by Dr. Ashutosh Shah, with the mission of preventing avoidable amputations through early diagnosis, structured treatment, preventive care and appropriate surgical intervention. The EDFC franchise model offers three levels of participation:
- Level 1: Essential Diabetic Foot ClinicFocused on diabetic foot screening, preventive care, basic wound management, patient education and referral pathways.
- Level 2: Advanced Wound & Limb Salvage CentreDesigned for eligible doctors and surgeons seeking to provide advanced wound care, offloading and appropriate limb-salvage services.
- Level 3: Comprehensive Diabetic Foot Surgical CentreDesigned for appropriately qualified surgical specialists seeking to establish comprehensive diabetic foot and limb-salvage services.
For doctors who develop an interest in diabetic foot care through Elegance Vidhyalay, EDFC offers a separate pathway to explore structured clinical service development, franchise participation and ongoing organisational support.
